Before returning to CUHK, Prof. Lam held significant positions, including Director (Marketing and Communications) of the School of Management and Economics at CUHK-Shenzhen from 2017 to 2019 and Associate Director of the EMBA Programme at CUHK Business School from 2013 to 2016.
With a distinguished career spanning over 25 years, Prof. Lam has held key leadership roles as head of marketing and general manager in renowned multinational companies such as P&G, McDonald's, and Coca-Cola. His innovative marketing strategies and cross-functional expertise have earned him global recognition and numerous prestigious awards.
During his tenure at Coca-Cola, Prof. Lam achieved remarkable milestones, including successfully launching the Minute Maid juice drink with pulp and becoming the first juice drink from a developing country to gain global availability. His contributions also led to accolades for the best brand marketing asset program, the best implementation of the marketing communication campaign, the best in the show for carbonated beverages, and the best juice drink advertising.
