About The Event
Hispanic film screening - a special collaboration between MexCham HK, the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, and Spanish World Hong Kong.
"El secreto de sus ojos" ("The secret in their eyes") follows a retired legal investigator as he reflects on an unsolved decades-old rape and murder case, intertwining past and present as he revisits the investigation and his unspoken love for a colleague.
Among others, "El secreto de sus ojos" won an Academy Award (Oscar) for Best Foreign Language Film, a Goya Award (Spain) for Best Spanish Language Foreign Film, and an Ariel Award (Mexico) for Best Ibero-American Film.
We welcome everyone, but those learning Spanish will benefit most from this screening, as we will discuss the movie in Spanish and English afterward!
