🎞️ Directed by Marcelo Rabuñal, the documentary investigates how the ubiquitous portrait of Uruguay's national hero, José Gervasio Artigas, painted more than a century ago, was a constructed invention meant to build a national myth rather than a factual representation of the historical figure.

This event is a collaboration between the Consulate-General of Uruguay in Hong Kong, the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, The Mexican Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, and Spanish World Hong Kong, the only Spanish-language academy in Hong Kong officially accredited by the Instituto Cervantes.
